چکیده

(1) Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the demineralization around brackets bonded with different types adhesive agents in a cariogenic suspension environment. (2) Methods: In study, 60 extracted upper first premolar teeth were divided into three groups 20 each group. Group 1, Transbond XT Primer + Light Cure Adhesive (3M Unitek, Monrovia, CA, USA), 2, GC Ortho Connect (GC Crop, Tokyo, Japan) and 3, Transbond™ Plus Self Etching USA) used. 1 buccal enamel surfaces etched for 30 s, washed 15 s dried s. All Gemini metal brackets. Gingival, occlusal proximal measured DIAGNOdent pen (KaVo, Biberach, Germany), values recorded. Measurements performed after bracketing (T0) 28 days environment (T1), which renewed every 48 h. Kolmogorov–Smirnov test used determine whether or not data homogeneously distributed, Wilcoxon comparisons within groups, Mann–Whitney U Kruskal–Wallis tests between groups. (3) Results: all on found be statistically significantly higher T1 period than T0 (p < 0.05). period, Groups 2 3 amount increase surface value periods There no significant difference gingival > (4) Conclusion: Significantly less observed agent applied acid etching.

Effect of Different Topical Agents on Remineralization of Early Enamel Lesion– an in vitro Study

Objective: This study aimed to compare the effect of using Casein phosphopeptide – amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste, Remin-Pro and Fluoride Varnish on remineralization of enamel lesions. Methods: In this experimental-in vitro study, 60 intact premolars and molars were used and flat enamel surfaces were prepared. The specimens were divided into 6 groups (N=10). After primary DIAGNO...

Effects of Three Different Topical Agents on Enamel Demineralization around Orthodontic Brackets: A Clinical Study

Placement of fixed appliances is still unfortunately linked with a high risk of developing white spot lesions, in spite of advances in orthodontic materials and treatment techniques [1,2]. During orthodontic treatment, plaque accumulation is frequently inevitable around the brackets because of inadequate oral hygiene which is very common in pubertal people [2]. Dental plaque is a biofilm produc...
